I just started reading Silence is Goldfish by Annabel Pitcher. I am on page 99 of 343. I think my brother, Clayton, would enjoy this book. I know him and I can relate to what the main character, Tess, is going through about not knowing who your dad is and trying to find him. I know we both understand the pain of not having or knowing your real father. I am enjoying this book and so far, I know I can totally understand what Tess is feeling, but Clayton should also read this book to learn about a different perspective on this that I have already learned.

I just started reading Mischling by Affinity Roberts. It has 339 pages and I am on 130. I think my mom would really like this book. It takes place in Auschwitz during the holocaust and revolves around a pair of identical twins. The infamous Dr. Mengele performs experiments on them and it is a different perspective of World War ll. My mom loves reading books about history, especially the holocaust. I am really enjoying it and I know that she would find it interesting too.

L=Lucy is loving, loyal, and lucky. She is also lonely, lyrical, and liberal.
U= Understanding, untypical, and unyielding. These words describe the unaggressive Lucy.
C= Civilized, convincing, and companionless. Lucy is also caring and compassionate for the kid gangs in her ghost own that are ruthless and violent.
Y= Lucy is young and has many things ahead of her in life. Her characteristics also include being yearnful and yeasty.

I have finished the book Breakdown. I have started reading Project 1065. It has 301 pages and I am on page 97. Out of my family members, I feel my mom would enjoy reading this book the most. It is a fictional book about World War II. The main character is an Irish spy who is pretending to be a part of the German Nazi Youth. My mom likes to read about history, she is a huge history bunk. She also enjoys reading about spies and crime genre books. I feel this book has many of those things, it talks about the gruesome acts that the Nazis pertained in. This book is very interesting and I will have to recommend it to my mom when I see her again.

I have just started reading A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron. I stopped on page 18 out of 319. I finished Carve The Mark today.
I know a lot of people that would probably enjoy reading A Dog's Purpose. Audrey Prostrollo and Liz Galpin are two of my closest friends and they both own and love dogs. I have a feeling this book would appeal to them. I could also see my mom reading this book. She grew up with dogs, and she loves the film adaptation of this book. My younger brother is not a huge reader, but a lot of the books he reads are about dogs. He also enjoyed the film adaptation of this book. I've barely started reading this book, but I can already tell it's something people of varying ages and reading levels can enjoy.

I am currently reading Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone it is a 368 page book and I stopped on page 20. My sister would enjoy reading the book I have just finished The Color Purple by Alice Walker. She is into more of the Violence, Adventure, Relationship books. I think she would really enjoy reading the color purple for the Violence and Adventure that is in that book. I also think that she would enjoy reading Time Between Us so far it is about Anna and her friend, how Anna sees someone watching her run but then she realizes that nobody was there. This book starts off with a very creepy and suspenseful beginning. I think my sister would enjoy reading any book she can get her hands on, she loves reading in her spare time. She likes more of the mystery, romance, adventure, action and crime books.

I am reading the book Biggie by Derek E. Sullivan. I am on page 63 of 266. If one of my friends or family members that I think would read this book would be my only boy cousin on my mom's side, Sam. I think he would enjoy this book because he is into baseball and the book is about a baseball player. It is also realistic fiction about a boy in high school so he could relate to it. Sam lives in a big school in Minnesota and so does the main character in the book. This book is funny and it is about sports so I think he would like it. I feel like this book might appeal to him because of the front and inside cover. Sam does a lot of sports so he doesn't always have time for reading, but this book is short so I think he could make time to read it. He really isn't into reading but I feel like he would like this book.

I just finished the color purple. It was 288 pages. I just started today Pride and Prejudice. It is 324 pages and I am at 15.
1.
I just read the Color Purple. In the Color Purple, the main character is a girl named Celie. Here is my list.
C= Celie is child-like in the beginning, but she becomes captive in a world of adults; she isn't clever, but she is caring and compassionate.
E= Enlightened to all the lies, enraged and usually easy-going, Celie has had enough.
L= Lazy, lame, (un)ladylike, and lacking brains are some things Celie is told throughout the book by others.
I= Ignored, imaginative, (sometimes) impolite, imperfect Celie changes and grows to be a better person.
E= Excellent ending left a lasting impression, when the educated sisters embrace in the end.

if I had to say on family member or friend that would read this book would probably Justin Z. He is in wrestling and is really good honstly probloy better then me. that and we both have read some of the same books. when he would read a book he would tell me about it last year and that would make me want to read it. same thing happened when i read a book. I think this book is more relatable to me tho i don't think that he would find it that interesting just cause he doesn't really watch ufc my brother on . the other hand Riley H has been training ufc and boxing a couple nights a week and really does like Henry C and his fighting style i will have to bring the book up the next time i see the two

Please start with name of current book, # of pages and where you stopped. Did you just finish one and start another? Tell me.

Choose any ONE of these topics and write AT LEAST 8 sentences.

1. Are you a Wordsmith? If so, try your hand at this activity. Choose one of your characters whose name is AT LEAST four letters long. Then for each letter of that character's name, write a sentence that includes at LEAST 4 words that START with that letter that describe that character.
So for example, I am reading The Power of One. The main character is a young boy named Peekay. Here is my list:
P=Peekay is perky, peculiar, peppy, playful, poor, and powerful.
E=Eager, earnest, easy-going, enthusiastic, and exceptional are good words to describe Peekay.
E=Peekay is endearing, is embarrassed at times, is really efficient, can be exuberant, and is a very eloquent speaker.
K=kind, kind-hearted, knowledgeable, kooky, keen
A=African, accepting, adventurous, active, affectionate, ambitious
Y=young, (un)yielding, (had a) yak, (lived over) yonder---oh this is too hard!
