I don't personally care what his food tastes like. Bobby Flay comes off as an arrogant ass every time he opens his mouth. I switch channels every time I see him on FoodTV.

I can't believe how many people have jumped to the defense of Bobby Flay. I am sure he can be fun to hang out with or work for. He seems to love his daughter very much. No one on this site is trying to get to the truth about Bobby's character. This site is just some vehicle to break balls about someone who can't help but come off as a pickled pompous bastard. Oh yeah, does anyone think that Mario Batali looks a lot like the guy who owns the comic book store on The Simpsons? Uncanny in my opinion.

This guy is truly pathetic. Just today on the Food Network they showed what you were all talking about, how arrogant he is. They told about how last time he claimed inferior equipment and he wanted a rematch because it was unfair. I mean I never really liked the guy in the first place, he likes to insult people on his show and make them feel stupid when he brings them up to help prepare food. If he wants it done in a certain perfect way he should do it himself, it would take less time than to criticize everyone. But standing on top of the counter twice during that show, trying to show off and brag about how good he is before a verdict even comes out (I'm not saying it would be appropiate after, but its funny he does that before a verdict is even rendered) is just really pathetic and is very disrespectful, especially when it is in Japan. He really is not making a good case for representing our country. Heck even the chairman decided to make fun of the US while Bobby and the crowd was there because of his whiny, smug attitude. I wish this guy would be taken off the air. BTW: On that show, they said this could possibly be the last Iron Chef episode. Anyone know if they made more after that 21st century battle? It would be a shame if the last winner was that whiner Flay.

QT, I'm so sorry I misspelled a word. I'm not looking for anything from Mr. Flay. I've never sent him an e-mail. I've never "badmouthed" anyone in this forum. If having some fun isn't the purpose of this site, what is it? If I make you sick, perhaps you should try swallowing things with a grain of salt. Insulting someone you have never met for a simple misplaced key stroke is hardly the thing to do when your own message is filled with errors in grammar, punctuation, etc. Your demonstation of mature, rational behavior was simply another in a continuing demonstration of cultural devolution. Pass the Tums. Mike Nelson

This site is so funny...Wow in 11 months there are 38 postings and almost 10 of them are positive. Yeah, Bobby should really be upset that about 30 people can't stand him. You people are sooooo pathetic, do you realize that when you wake-up each morning and look at yourself in the mirror..Or is the site of yourself in a mirror to much for even you to deal with. Sad sorry sacks of shit.

Really now, this is so funny. I think some people don't realise that the premise of the Iron Chef show is just like pro wrestling with food. By the way, I've worked in a lot of kitchens, with a lot of cooks, and I have yet to see anyone "chef" an egg. Emmett Swink

First of all - note to G-Dog: you are a punk who needs to get a life. Secondly, for those of you who care, Bobby Flay happens to be an outstanding individual and a person who is unfortunately slandered because people are jealous of him. If you do not know the man, don't speak.

Come on Bobby, we know that's you. I hardly count helping cooks learn the fine art of cream corn an education. How do you know we've not met him? I don't think anyone is "angry", we just find him amusingly idiotic.

I happen to know Bobby Flay personally. Both my sister and I have worked for him for a number of years, and have both loved every minute of it. He is not only a truly inspirational chef, but one who actually takes the time to help his cooks learn....unlike most stuck up, hot-tempered "star" chefs. Before any of you decide to slander someone you don't know, why not try going to meet the man first? Or, how about diverting this empty anger toward the real scum bags out there who are bombing schools, buses and children and starving their own people?

I cant even believe Im reading this stuff. Why is there so much Bobby Flay hate going around. He cant be any worse than that Malto Mario guy. Something about red hair I guess. Not only do mario's shows suck, hes way more arrogant, not to mention fat.

I luv it when hot off the grill on foodtv, he insults "Frankie da butcha". if there was ever such a dik, it would be Frankie first, then Bobby second, cause he's very rude on obnoxious to everyone.

My friend is a recent C.I.A (awesome cooking school) graduate and the word there is that bobby FLay is just some alcoholic prick. He comes from a wealthy east coast family who bought him a publicist. A publicist is what makes famous chefs really famous. You usually have to get a little famous first because publicists are very expensive. This doesn't apply if Mommy and Daddy just write you a check. I hope his oven explodes

The only thing impresive on Mr. Flay's show are the cheap chopping sluts.
